Once you have completed the (sometimes daunting) process of weeding through resumes and interviews and have finally decided on a candidate, sending the offer letter is the next step for you! The offer letter itself does not have to be a lengthy document but rather serves as an informative piece to the candidate.

What Other Things Should I Include?

We recommend keeping the offer letter straightforward and to the point, but other things you could include in your email could be to include the new employees direct supervisor’s name. Additionally, you can use the offer letter to outline any sign on bonuses or additional perks of accepting the position (if applicable).

The important things to make sure your offer letter conveys are to ensure it is accurate and clear, it makes it easy for your candidate to accept and set’s the tone for the continued relationship with you/your company and the future employee.
